Thoughts
Moving away from the game, cyberpunk edgerunners is a standalone series set in the cyberpunk world. My taste of the game was not good going into the series, however i went in with an open mind.
I was invited to an adrenaline rush of moments. With highs and lows, the whole show was a roller coaster of emotions, left me with a bitter but satisfying ending. Studio trigger, the animation studio behind the anime, done an excellent job with capturing the aesthetic and vibe of the game, and exucuted the action sequences to perfection.
Spoiler: The cyberpsychos are actually shown to be dangerous in the anime compared to the game.
