Overview

Thorfinn, the son of one of the Vikings' greatest warriors, spends his boyhood in a battlefield enhancing his skills in his adventure to redeem his most-desired revenge after his father was murdered.

Initial thoughts

From when Thorfinn lost his father 'Thors', i was questioning what type of anime protagonist he will turn out to be. It was a stark difference to the boy we was introduced to in the first episode. The innocent, bright eyed kid longing for an adventure was long gone and now filled with hatred and vengeance for his father's killer 'Askellad'

Thor's death

I was very shocked to see Thors die the way he did, after he was built to be one of the strongest out of the early charachters we was introduced to. After watching season 1 and now season 2 in full i have come to understand that it was needed as a catalyst to drive Thorfinn.
